Data Protection Policy
This statement sets out the Chatter Matters policy in relation to the holding and using of information about you which may be obtained from you or other sources during your treatment.
This information may include personal details, details relating to your family lifestyle and social circumstances, education and training and employment details. This data may be shared with yourself, your relatives, and other healthcare or education professionals with your permission. This information is held in files at the home address of your named therapist and also on your therapist's computer.
This information is used for the administration of our service to you and for the purpose of keeping our accounts and records. All information will be held and processed in line with Data Protection Principles given in the Data Protection Act 1998.
Chatter Matters is registered as a Data Controller with The Office of the Data Protection Registrar, in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update the Terms and Conditions at any time. If changes to the Terms and Conditions are necessary, we will notify you or the parents/carers of children currently on the caseload via the email address you have provided us with. It is the parent/carers responsibility to inform us of any changes to personal details, inclusive of home address, contact telephone numbers and email addresses, so that we are able to provide you with current, updated and relevant information. We cannot be held responsible if you do not provide us with updated contact details and there is an issue as a result of this.
Modifications to the Terms and Conditions will be effective from the day they are emailed out to parents/carers, unless stated otherwise. You will be given 30 days notice to any changes to Terms and Conditions which directly affect the payment rates for my services. If you then continue to use the service following the notification of a change to the Terms and Conditions, we will automatically assume you have accepted these changes.
