OUR SERVICES
ASSESSMENTS
We are able to provide full assessments in person or online to individual families or schools.
An initial assessment consists of gathering a full case history, assessing the difficulty, feeding back with recommendations, answering any questions and writing a report. An assessment usually takes around 90 minutes, however, if we have time at the end we may also try some therapy techniques.

We have a range of standardised language assessments, used to assess children's language skills. Speech assessments are more informal. We are happy to carry out one off assessments and provide a comprehensive report, however, for more rewarding results we can also provide ongoing therapy.

NEW for 2023 - We now offer diagnostic assessments for Autistic Spectrum Disorder. We use ADOS and ADI-R assessments, which are regarded as the gold standard in assessing for Autism.

SPEECH THERAPY
We work with all ages and are able to offer a thorough assessment and timely therapy to improve yours or your child's speech.

Whether it be a mild speech difficulty such as a lisp, a complex speech disorder, Dyspraxia, or a physical difficulty such as cleft lip and palate, we would love to work with you to achieve your speech goals, and ultimately, improve your confidence.

This service is available via teletherapy or face-to-face either at the client's home or in nursery/school (travel charged separately).
LANGUAGEÂ THERAPY
We can provide assessments and therapy for children with difficulties associated with attention and listening, understanding of language and/or expression of language. We also work with diagnoses such as Developmental Language Disorder.
We can also provide support for adolescents and adults who have difficulties understanding and expressing emotions due to an underlying social communication difficulty (pragmatic skills). We can work with children on the Autism Spectrum or any other social communication difficulty.

We will provide a free 15 minute telephone conversation to find out what you or your child require from therapy and advise on the best course of action. If speech and language therapy is the appropriate route we will arrange for an initial assessment at a time that suits you.

Typically, therapy sessions are an hour, once per week and can commence as early as the week following an assessment. Therapy will be offered for as long as required.
